Characteristics

The site consists of 3 runways: 

  • a main runway, of 2 100 m long on 45 m wide (Cat 1 ILS), orientation 17/35,
  • a secondary runway, of 1 435 m long on 45 m wide, orientation 12/30,
  • a turfed runway, of 200 m long, orientation 17/35.

The main runway can receive big aircraft as Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320. 

The plane parking lot has 14 spaces.  

The terminal of 1 400 sqm can welcome up to 250 000 passengers a year.

Exploitation

The Regional Council of Brittany confided the management and the common exploitation of the airports of Rennes and Dinard to the SEARD-Society of Exploitation of the Airports of Rennes and Dinard, grouping consisted of  

Of a duration of 14 years and 10 months, the new contract of concession came into effect on March 1st, 2010. It marks the point of departure of a new dynamics for both Breton airports.
