A new route to Bristol from Dinard

After confirming the opening of a route to Leeds Bradford last November, Ryanair continues to develop its offer from the airport of Dinard for the upcoming summer season. From March 26 2012, the city of Bristol, south west England, will be served with four weekly direct flights by the low cost airline, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The line to Bristol will be the fourth operated by Ryanair flights from Dinard airport after London (Stansted), Leeds Bradford and East Midlands (Nottingham). In total, 16 flights will be opérated weekly by the Irish company, which expects as a result, 170,000 passengers to and from the airport of Dinard.

Ryanair announced a new route Dinard/Leeds Bradford

After celebrating the milestone of 1.5 million passengers, Ryanair announces the launch of a new route for next summer. From March 27, 2012, the low cost airline will operate 2 flights a week between Leeds-Bradford and Dinard.

Ryanair increases its flights to Dinard and announces a new route. During summer, the Irish company will connect Leeds Bradford to Dinard, 2 times a week.

Direct flights to London from Dinard and Brittany

The direct route from Dinard to London is the only one operated from a Breton airport this summer ! One daily flight (except on Sunday) connects the British capital from March, 28th to October, 29th.

The faster way to join the British capital this summer? The route Dinard/London-Stansted operated by Ryanair, every day, from Monday to Saturday. This direct route allows connecting London within 1h05. 

This direct route is the only one operated from a Breton airport in 2011.

The airline Aurigny Air Services operates also flights to London-Gatwick, with a fast connection in Guernsey, every day, all year long.

Direct flights Dinard/Guernsey are scheduled all year long by Aurigny Air Services. Via Guernsey, the airline also allows to join London Gatwick, Manchester, Jersey or Alderney from Dinard airport.
From Dinard flights to Guernsey

Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands, is a destination in itself, but it is also an airport of fast connection to the United Kingdom and the other islands. From Dinard, daily connections are possible to London Gatwick, Manchester, Jersey and Alderney.
Direct flights Dinard/Guernsey are operated every day, with Trislander of 14 seats. 

Dinard airport: traffic up 9% at end-October

2011 promises to be a good year for the airport of Dinard. With 118,940 passengers at the end of October, activity increased by 9% (about 9,000 additional passengers).

Traffic routes operated by Ryanair between Brittany and England is very dynamic. 

Traffic Dinard / London: 12.3% 

Flight to London Stansted is that the fastest growth, with an increase by 12.3% to end October.
Today is the only direct flight between Britain and the British capital. 3 flights per week make the connection. This direct route allows connecting London within 1h05. 

The direct route betweeen Dinard and East Midlands (Nottingham) is doing well also. It grew by 5.2%. It is scheduled 3 times a week by Ryanair. The flights are operated on Boeing 737-800 of 189, within 1h10. 

The route between Dinard and Guernsey operated by Aurigny Air Services Company saw its traffic decline slightly compared to 2010 (-6.5%). The airline Aurigny operates 1 to 2 daily direct flights all year long, within half an hour. The flights are scheduled on Trislander of 14 seats. Based in Alderney, Aurigny Air Services is programming this route since 1986. 

From Dinard via Guernsey, connections are also possible to London Gatwick, Manchester, Jersey and Alderney. 

In 2010, Dinard Airport hosted 122,270 passengers.

Car park information : change of the equipments

From october 12th, the car park equipments have been changed for your benefit. Now pay by credit or debit card by inserting your ticket and your card at the exit of car park. Please make sure your ticket is compatible with the new equiment.

A new manager for the restaurant

Since the April 1st, the management of the Bar snack, situated in the 1st floor of the terminal of Dinard, was resumed by the company Le Mermoz, already manager of the restaurant La Passerelle at the airport of Rennes.

The Bar snack is now open when flights are scheduled by Ryanair. You can eat while waiting for your flight, by taking advantage of a pleasant view on the runway.

Ryanair launches his new service Flight Tracker

Ryanair innovates his new free service on july 19th. The Flight Tracker allows Ryanair passagers to retrieve their historic bookings. Very useful for frequent flyers.

This innovation offers to passagers to track their flights within an 18 month period. It just needs to indicate a reference number and the email address.  

The service was developed after Ryanair notices that more than 50% of his passengers travel more 4 times a year and more than 30% travel more than 6 times a year.

Ryanair extends his service "reserved seating"

From January 10th 2012 and thanks to its successfull trial, Ryanair extends reserved seating to all its routes. For €10 only (each way), the pre-booked service offers the possility to passengers to chose their seat and to benefit of priority board.

After, the success of its trial, made on summer 2011, Ryanair proposes his new service which allows passengers to pre-reserve seats in the front two rows, for a quick gateway on arrival, or in over wing rows for a greater legroom.  

Furthermore, for 5€, Ryanair will continue to offer its priority boarding services only.  

For safey restrictions, people who travelling with under 16 years old of age can reserve seats in row 2 only.
